Urging ATF to finalize it soon
As possible .   Guns sold without background checks
—Both at gun shows and on the net—beget
Firearms often trafficked across state lines,
Or recovered in cities at scenes of crimes,
Or used against officers oftentimes .
This contributes to the gun violence
Epidemic plaguing our country hence .
The long–standing lack of clarity around
Which sellers must license and run background
Checks has made the gun issue more profound .

I support the clear common-sense standard laid
Out in this rule :   before gun merchants get paid
Online or at show, presumption is profit
And therefore a license becomes apposite
To run a check on customer’s background .
This law will save lives and should be laid down .
